Terms of Use

By accessing or using Anoni (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including those who submit content.

Anoni is designed for anonymous story sharing. You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to submit content. We assign you a random anonymous token stored in your browser for the purpose of managing your submissions.

By submitting a story, you confirm that you are the original author and that you have the right to share the content. Anonymous submission does not absolve you of legal responsibility for content you post.

You may not submit content that:

• Constitutes hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
• Identifies, names, or targets a specific private individual without their consent
• Contains or promotes illegal activity under South African law
• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Includes explicit sexual content involving minors
• Constitutes spam, advertising, or unsolicited commercial content
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Is deliberately false or misleading in a way intended to cause harm

Violations may result in your content being removed and your token being blocked from further submissions.

All story submissions are reviewed by our moderation team before publication. We reserve the right to approve, reject, remove, or edit any submitted content at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation.

Moderation decisions are final. We are not obligated to publish any submitted content. Submitting a story does not guarantee it will appear on the Platform.

By submitting content to Anoni, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote that content on the Platform and associated social media channels. You retain ownership of your content.

The Anoni name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Anoni is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted content. Stories reflect the experiences and opinions of anonymous users and do not represent the views of Anoni.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anoni shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any content published on it.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

We reserve the right to suspend access to the Platform, remove content, or block anonymous tokens at any time and for any reason, including breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
