My in-laws are treating me like a housemaid and my husband says nothing

I have been married for two years. Every time his family visits, and they visit every second weekend, I am expected to cook, clean, serve, and disappear. My husband just sits with them like he does not see what is happening. Last month his mother rearranged my kitchen and told me I do not know how to run a home. I cried in the bathroom for an hour. When I told my husband he said I am being sensitive. I am reaching a breaking point. Is this normal in SA marriages or is it just my situation?
